Just about as black as an orchid can be and a true miniature. The multiflowered “foxtail” type spikes cascade from the sides of the plant and flower count can be as high as 60 flowers per spike.  It is somewhat epiphytic, this does best hanging in a basket with good air circulation.  It is a cross of two Australian Native species Canaliculatum x Madidum, so should also easily flower in warmer more tropical areas.   If it is to be grown in cooler climates, try and place it in a fairly sheltered area and back off watering during cooler months for best results.
